Privacy Policy
Effective: September 30, 2026
Unstuck is built so that we could not read your data even if we wanted to. The app has no server, no accounts, and no analytics.
What we collect
Nothing. Unstuck collects no personal data and makes no network requests of its own.
What stays on your device
Your tasks, focus session history, reminders, and settings are stored only in the app's local database on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. They are included in your own device backups according to your iOS settings.
Microphone and speech
If you grant microphone access, speech is transcribed on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is not recorded, stored, or sent anywhere by Unstuck. The app is fully usable by typing without granting microphone access.
Notifications
Session-end, reminder, and recap notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification service is used.
Apple Reminders import
If you choose to import from Apple Reminders and grant access, the app copies the reminders you approve into its own list, one way, once. It never writes back to Reminders and never sends them anywhere. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
Files you import
Text, Markdown, or CSV files you pick are read once to extract tasks and are not stored.
Shortcuts and widgets
Tasks pushed in via Siri or Shortcuts, and the snapshot shown in the widget, are stored in the app's own on-device container shared only between the app and its widget.
Children
Unstuck does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. It collects no data at all.
Changes
If a future version ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated first and the change clearly disclosed in the App Store notes.
